2019 term 4, week 3: Bootstrap Framework elements

Web 2 students have become familiar with the basic features of Adobe Dreamweaver.  Students have spent this week looking at ways to incorporate the Bootstrap framework with navigation menus.  We have created traditional horizontal navbars, and are working on a responsive hamburger menu.  Next week we will learn about even more elements to put into our web pages using Bootstrap in Adobe Dreamweaver.

2019 term 4, week 2: Creating a Layout

We had a good week back for Web II.  Students were able to review major html and css concepts that we used in Web I.  By the end of the week, we were able to learn the basics of defining a site, and setting up a very simple web site with Adobe Dreamweaver.  This week, we will be spending some time learning about how to set up a layout for a page using Dreamweaver.  Students will review over concepts like thumbnails and wireframing, and we will start learning how to put our ideas from paper into action in Adobe Dreamweaver.

2019 term 4, week 1: Welcome to Web Design II!

Here we are already at the 4th quarter, and it is time for Web Design 2 class to begin!!  This course is offered as dual credit through MPCC, and we will have a representative come to class to discuss registration procedures with students who are interested.  We will then spend some time getting to know each other and reviewing key concepts of html and css.  This term, we will spend the rest of the course learning to take our previous skills and apply them as we create web sites using Adobe Dreamweaver.  I'm looking forward to seeing everybody Monday!!
